This password decoder enables you to quickly decode the encryption applied to service passwords configured on Extreme Networks devices running either ExtemeWare or ExtremeOS. These devices include Summit, Alpine and BlackDiamond devices. The service passwords appear in the configuration in a similar form to the following example:
configure tacacs secondary shared-secret encrypted "rmzy}np`"
To decode those encrypted passwords you can simply copy and paste them into the decoder, as shown below.
