How to update resources in Nipper

The resources within Nipper are updated during each product release. However, the Manage Resources option within Nipper gives users the ability to upload their own resources, ensuring that Nipper is using the most up-to-date vulnerability information available.

Update NVD resources

The National Vulnerability Database (NVD) is a U.S. government repository of data relating to vulnerability management. Provided by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), these files aggregate data from the Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) system and include comprehensive vulnerability information such as descriptions, severity ratings (e.g. CVSS scores), affected software versions, and potential remediation steps.

Downloading the latest NVD File

Titania stores the latest NVD file (updated each hour) in the Customer Portal on Titania's customer account (https://account.titania.com/).

You must have an active license and login to be able to access the account, if you don't have a login you can request access via https://account.titania.com/request-access

Click on Software Resources to view the downloads available for the software from either the dashboard or the navigation on the left-hand side of the screen.
